Boosting Your Immune System. Having a nutritious diet will help keep your immune system at its best. Taking vitamin and herb supplements will also aid in increasing your resistance to viruses and bacteria.

Getting Vaccinated. Vaccines are made to make the body immunized from certain diseases. A weak strain of bacteria will be introduced to your body so that your immune system can actively produce antibodies for that specific strain. There are available vaccines for some diseases like Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, and Measles.

These are just a few measures to eliminate, or at least decrease, our risks of having diseases. What you have to always remember is to keep yourself healthy physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. That is one of our best defenses against diseases.
